Over the past 3 decades, dinner plates have become as large as 14" diameter.  Because of this you;re more apt to eat more than you should.  Remember the 9 inch plate (like most paper plates) is all you need to portion up to 600 healthy calories per meal.  Most of us eat less than that so your 9 inch plate still should have some space left on it!

"What is your 'Reflection' of you?"

Posted by Jan Rosskamm on December 17, 2011 at 11:35 AM Comments comments (0)

Well, it's that time of year again...preparing for the holidays and thinking about the New Year to come.

This New Year of 2012, I would like you all to think about what your true Reflection is.  Is it what you see in the mirror?  I hope not.  Like I have told many of you along the pursuit of your goals, your reflection must be who you are not what you see in the mirror.  Yes, we all want to be happy with how we look but we need to be happy with who we are first. ...

Stressed is Desserts spelled backwards!

Posted by Jan Rosskamm on October 6, 2011 at 5:50 AM Comments comments (2)
